It frightens me to remind you of anything because I know you incapable of forgetting anything. I come before your throne not to accuse you of being lacking but to remind myself that you are who you say you are and you will do what you say you will do. You are faithful to your promises.
Father, I see in your word you say your yoke is gentle and humble and I will find rest in you. I hear you say to cast my cares upon you and you will sustain me. I read the promise to ask and it will be given, seek and I will find, knock and the door will be open.
Dear Jesus, I cast on you these racing thoughts in my head. I take captive every thought and make it obedient to you. In their place, I ask for peace and clarity.
Father God, I cast on you this weariness behind my eyes. In its place I ask for renewed vision. I know you have plans for me to prosper and not to harm me. Your word tells me you have plans to give me hope and a future.
Father I cast on you this impatience and uncertainty. Replace them with hope and patience. I hold unswervingly to my hope in your word and your promises of unfailing love. I hope for what I do not have. I wait for you Lord.
Father, I cast on you this weakness of my arms, feet, mind, and ability. In their place remind me I can do all things through you who strengthen me. Fill me with your knowledge and wisdom for I know I can do nothing apart from you.
Sweet Jesus, I cast on you this weariness in doing good. Fill me with your hope to renew my strength, make me to soar on wings like eagles, help me to run and not grow weary, to walk and not grow faint.
Heavenly Father, I don’t want to be lazy. I want to walk in faith and patience and inherit what you have promised. Grant me the desires of my heart.
